In Canada, Superbowl ad time

costs $83k CDN for a 30-second national spot.

Ad time is also available regionally, at the following rates: $47k in Ontario, $12k in BC and $600 in Newfoundland, all for a 30-second commercial.

It costs $2.2 million USD for a 30-second spot in the USA. At the current exchange rates, an advertiser willing to spend $2.2 million USD in the Canadian market would be able to buy 20.5 minutes of national airtime... or about two days worth of time in Newfoundland.
