Just think of all the time and effort...
I sorted through my junk drawer today, and found a bunch of ticket stubs from the past 10 months. It has been a pretty good year, sporting event and concert-wise. Since November, I have been to:
six Raptors games
four Leafs games, including two playoff games
one Jays game, at Fenway
the Sweet Sixteen, featuring the eventual 2003 NCAA Champions, the Syracuse Orangemen
one game featuring LeBron James
one Stanley Cup Finals game
a concert featuring two of my favorite hip-hop artists, Common and Talib Kweli
another concert featuring my now-favorite live hip-hop artists, The Roots
All with no major sports teams within 100+ miles of where I live.
It will be an enjoyable task to try and match my prodigious output over the next 10 months.
