I just purchased Raptors tickets from Ticketmaster. The seats were $15 each, including a $2.50-per-ticket service charge.
What really got me angry, though, were the delivery "options". It was $6.50 to receive the tickets via email so I could print them out right away. It's appropriate to mention that in addition to the $6.50 charge, Ticketmaster sells ads that appear on the printed tickets.
It burned me that there was no longer an option to receive the tickets for free. Picking up the tickets at the Will Call window at the stadium--which is always free--cost a whopping $4.
The online ticket-selling industry is begging for some competition, as consumers are clearly being raped for every penny that Ticketmaster can squeeze out of us.
