Light Blogging Will Continue...
Apologies for the light blogging lately.
Between working on a project for Fox, closing things out in Connecticut, finding a tenant for my place, getting shots (5 needles and $430--double ouch!) and planning and booking what promises to be a fantastic trip to Africa and Europe, life has only sped up since I left ESPN, which is something I didn't think was possible. Posting will continue to be light over the next few weeks.
"Strangers are the source of fear in the world. On the Internet they are the source of everything good - trust is what makes that happen."
I love that it's true, but I don't think strangers need to be a source of fear in this world. I've seen how far a smile and wild gesticulations can go when you don't speak the same language. 99.9999% of people are friendly and want to connect; the biggest obstacle for most is stirring up the confidence to take the first step and reach out to someone or to try something different.
So, Caterina's line inspired me to decide something I've been trying to figure out for a couple of days now--London or Cairo? Screw the easy choice--I'm heading to Cairo!
