Bill Lawrence is using YouTube to create demand for his new show

Lawrence, creator of the awesome Scrubs, created Nobody's Watching for the WB, but it wasn't picked up by the network. He then posted parts one, two, and three of the pilot episode on YouTube, hoping that it will appeal to a lot of folks. The economics aren't there yet, but one day 30-minute shows will be profitable without being on TV. In the meantime, Lawrence is changing the way shows are pitched.
