Umair hits it on the head yet again. With apologies to Ray Kurzweil, “I became interested in long term trends because a business model needs to make sense in the world in which it is finished, not the world in which it was started.” Since the media value chain is reforming, it makes sense to invest in what's getting traction, and worry about biz model once you have a better understanding of the new value chain.
