Campers,

BarCamp LA is on track for the evening of Mar 4--starting around 5p--and all day Mar 5th, and it's going to be awesome. Thanks to everyone who's been helping to spread the word and make this happen.

If you can bring equipment for us to use over the weekend, please EMAIL US! These are the things we currently need:

 - folding chairs (or camping chairs, or beanbags, or yoga mats)
 - big pads of paper, w/ or w/o easels
 - snacks
 - power strip

What to Bring to BarCamp
 - chair, bean bag, or yoga mat
 - laptop + power brick
 - ethernet cable / wireless card if you need one
 - mac DVI-VGA and Mini VGA-VGA dongles if you need one
 - If you're camping: sleeping bag, jammies, toothbrush, bedtime stories, etc.

***NOTE that unfortunately there are NO SHOWERS at the space.***

Need a place to crash? - If you're coming into the city Friday night and need a place to stay, add a note to the wiki to find a host.

Sponsor! - If your company chips in to cover the cost of t-shirts and food, you'll be a hero!

Having trouble picking an idea for a presentation? Post your ideas on the wiki and ask for suggestions.

Don't feel like you have something to present about? Use the wiki to brainstorm, or email another attendee to see if you can help with their presentation.

How long? 5 minutes, 30 minutes, it doesn't matter. You can come prepared with slides, or make it up as the day unfolds. It's up to you.
