Angels & Demons
by Dan Brown
by Dan Brown
Having read The Da Vinci Code last year, and Digital Fortress earlier, I knew what to expect from Brown: a Hollywood-esque page-turner where everything would wrap up perfectly at the end.
And this is what I got. I read the majority of it on the beach in Positano, and finished it in less than 24 hours. There was nothing really special about Angels and Demons, but context for the books was provided by having visited several major Roman landmarks used in the book, including the Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona, and the Pantheon several days before I cracked this open.
