Driving standard is fun
. I love it, and am pretty comfortable behind the wheel. Good thing too, cuz we got dumped on today. About 20 cm. worth of snow, which is bad enough, but the snow removal here is piss-poor compared to Montreal. Guess that's what happens when you move from the city with the highest snow-removal budget in the world to anywhere else.
(Brief aside: Conan is doing an "If They Mated" episode and made me laugh out loud with his Beyonce / Jay-Z mating picture.)
Anyways, last week was a weird week. I dreaded driving anywhere because the concentration it took was fierce. It's not so often that you learn a skill that you use everyday so late in life. It was difficult too, because it's so close to driving an automatic but frustratingly different.

So anyways, going to Montreal tomorrow for the weekend. Should be good to get back to the homeland, and get back to a city I love.
