This week, ESPN.com launched a new product

, ESPN Motion, and a site redesign.

There are many complaints about both Motion and the redesign being incompatible with certain Operating Systems / Browser combinations. While this does say something about our diligence in testing, it's interesting to see how much users scream and cry about the company being irresponsible in launching a product that does not work with OS A and Browser B.

Generally, the users should be screaming at Mozilla, or Netscape, or Opera, for releasing a product that does not support browser-specific Open Standards that IE supports... or Apple for doing a poor job of evangelizing their APIs to software developers and making it easier and worthwhile to create applications that run on Macs.

Or users should hop on the trolley, and upgrade their browser.
