Today I retired the oldest piece of equipment in my computer.

It was a Panasonic 4x CD burner that I bought in 1998 for $400. It burned a full CD in about 20 minutes.

I now have a Lite-On 52x burner that I bought for $50. It can burn a full CD in under two minutes.

God bless the forward progression of technology.
