Jurassic 5 was underwhelming.

They played at the University of Hartford's sport center. Maybe it was because the acoustics were poor, or the alcohol was prohibited, or the smoking was not allowed, but the place had no atmosphere.

The guys were also kooky--almost amateurishly so. Their stage presence was poor compared to Common or even Talib Kweli at Monday's show, and the music not nearly as polished.

But when I got home today after the show, my tickets to see The Roots in May had arrived...
