That's, um, luzA spelled backwards

There's a restaurant in town named Azul, which serves South American fusion cuisine. It is supposed to be all the rage in West Hartford; according to West Hartford Life, they are taking reservations four weeks in advance.

So I called them on Saturday, asking for a Sunday reservation for two. Surprisingly, I was told this was not a problem.

Geneve and I showed up a few minutes before 8 pm on Sunday, and the place was empty.

The food was was mediocre at best, and totally overpriced to boot.

Seems like there are a couple of those joints in the W.H. that people don't mind overpaying to avoid eating at the TGIF's and Friendly's that pervade central Connecticut.
