Boyz in the Hood

Just got back from a great weekend in Montreal. Met up with a bunch of cronies, including my parents, sister, Chloe, Matty, JBiz, Grande, Maggs, J.P., eBri, Ramy, and a bunch of other up-to-no-goodniks. Watched some good disc at Canadian Nationals, had some good food at Thai Grill, and just enjoyed being in a city with some old friends.

Geneve and I had dinner with Ramy and his new Japanese girlfriend, Hideko, a couple hours after she stepped on non-Japanese soil for the first time in her life. We chowed at Santropol, and Hikedo confirmed her coolness when she slugged Ramy multiple times after we told her the chin chin ta te ru story.

I've got to pack up for the Adaptive Path workshop in D.C., followed by day game at Yankee Stadium on Wednesday. Looking forward to meeting some new people, being exposed to some new ideas, and getting away from League Manager development for a little while. It's going to be a long trip though; 5.5 hours driving down from Montreal today, about an hour to the train station in New Haven, and then a 4.5 hour train ride on the Acela Express.
