.com better than .ca
On Sunday, I ordered a book as a birthday present for my dad via Amazon.com. Ever the diligent consumer, I had verified that even with the exchange rate, ordering from Amazon.com was cheaper and faster (book ships in 24 hours vs. book ships in 5-7 days) than ordering from Amazon.ca.
The package arrived today, from Amazon's distribution centre in Kentucky.
When I place an order for something to be delivered to my home in Connecticut, I give it about a week. I was thus astounded that the package arrived within a week of placing my order, especially taking into account the delay at customs.
It makes me wonder why Amazon even bothered launching a Canadian site...
