McGriddle Me This
One day while bored and hungry, I decided to replicate the delicious McGriddle I had a few days prior. Providing both savory and sweet tastes in a breakfast that can easily be consumed on the go, the McGriddle has struck a chord with those who eat at Mickey-D's, and has become terribly popular.
They're also (gasp) very unhealthy.
So, here is the result of my experiment in the kitchen. These bad boys can be whipped up in about five minutes, are much healthier than McDonald's product, and taste damn good.
Ingredients:
1 english muffin
1 egg
1 slice smoked turkey
1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
1/2 tsp maple syrup
1 tbsp grated cheddar cheese
Instructions:
Heat a small frying pan at medium until hot. Add olive oil. Add turkey after dicing into small pieces. Cook turkey until it begins to brown, remove from pan, and set aside. Add egg to pan and scramble. Slice english muffin and pop into toaster. When egg is cooked through, add turkey and cheese. When english muffin is done toasting, spread maple syrup on both sides of english muffin. Make an english muffin sandwich with your egg, turkey, and cheese, and you're good to go.

Awesome suggestion. I made it yesterday morning. Next time I need to use a bit more Quebec maple syrup, but man that was good eating.
