Getting some college action

Geneve, Ribs, Sean and I went up to Storrs, CT (home of the University of Connecticut) to take in the NCAA semis at Huskies, a local watering hole.

It was, in a word, nuts. We were shoulder-to-shoulder with rabid, "beer" swilling--$3.50 a pitcher during happy hour--UConn students, who provided solid entertainment during UConn's 79-78 victory over Duke. The "Duck Fuke" t-shirts were out in force, and the fans were expressive about their love and appreciation for their team's play, as well as about how they felt about the ducking Fookies.

A nice change from the refined dull town where we live.
