ESPN.com Columnists via RSS

I just created an RSS feed that will display the last 15 articles a columnist has published on ESPN.com. The feed URL is:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/rss/columnist?name=lastname_firstname

For example, to subscribe to Bill Simmons' feed, this is the URL you'd subscribe to:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/rss/columnist?name=simmons_bill

We'll hopefully build in the ability to choose the columnist feeds you'd like to read via the ESPN toolbar shortly.

Read more about RSS.

Disclaimer: this is a work in progress. If a certain columnist has a broken feed, please let me know by leaving a comment here. Thanks.

Ok, Hunter S. Thompson's RSS feed can be found here.

In general, the columns for a given author can be found by taking everything to the right of the "columnist=" and to the left of an ampersand (if there is one) in the URL of an ESPN.com columnist archive page and adding it after "name=" to get the URL of the desired RSS feed:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/rss/columnist?name=

Kareem-

Great. Thanks for the link -- I'll begin using these feeds once the college basketball season begins.

Hoping you could add a link to my College Basketball Blog, collegeball.blogspot.com, on your site. I'd greatly appreciate it and would return the favor with a link to your site on my blogroll.

Please let me know.

Thanks!
