Ça Commence de Nouveau

The NFL season started yesterday with a rematch of last year's AFC Championship game, and again New England took it 27-24 as Oakvillian Mike Vanderjagt went wide right on his opportunity to tie the game with only a few seconds remaining.

And, of course, as stats started pouring in yesterday, League Manager 2.0 officially became relevant. There was a brief round of applause that rippled around the room as players locked at kickoff, and then it was heads down and back to work.

The coolest new feature that we've got is the game update toast which flies out on the league scoreboards and boxscores when a scoring play happens. It is both innovative and useful and really raises the bar for the competition.

Also, there's more from Sujal on the NFL Season kickoff, along with a great picture.
