Does Anybody Read Press Releases Anymore?

I saw on little yellow different this morning that Yahoo! launched Yahoo!360. I clicked over to read the press release--since little yellow different didn't have any details about what the product actually is--and my mind started to wander. One innovative, seamless, integrated and convenient paragraph in, and my eyes were glazing over.

So, I hopped over to Google, did a quick search, and found this on CNet: Yahoo 360 takes spin through blogosphere. Get rid of all the self-congratulatory spin, and the product sounds like it could be interesting.

Seems ironic that the a product that aims to contribute heavily to the blogosphere has nothing on the official blog, nor the heavily trafficked unofficial ones, either.
