ESPN's Tournament Stunt

When you visit ESPN.com today for the first time, you see a big, fat callout to play our NCAA tournament game.

One of the challenges we have in the fantasy games group is how to make fantasy games accessible to casual fans. One way, obviously, is to hit everybody who comes to the main site over the head with a beautiful callout to one of our easiest and most fun games to play.

The net effect will hopefully be akin to that boiled frog story: if you put a frog in boiling water, it'll jump write out. But if you put it in room-temperature water and then bring it to a boil, it'll make a delicious froggy broth.

In other words, once new folks are comfortable and enjoy playing our Tournament Challenge game, the likelihood is much higher that they will become a permanent fixture in the ESPN Fantasy Games community.

If you haven't already, check out the game before games tip off tomorrow at noon ET.
