Rovell and Davidson: Getting Some Pub
One great thing about working at a place like ESPN are the achievements of the folks who I work with. Two guys who are doing interesting things of late are Mike Davidson and Darren Rovell.
Mike's iPod Shuffle Giveaway has gotten some good play throughout the blogosphere, but today it picked up by the Times! Head over to Mike's site to check out the winner of Mike Davidson's meatspace Shuffle contest.
Darren Rovell is the hardest working man in sports business journalism, having written two books since I met him in November of 2002. The second of these books is called First in Thirst, and it's about the product that loves to replace your lost electrolytes, Gatorade. The book comes out in September, but Darren has launched a blog: Darren Rovell's First in Thirst Gatorade blog. And, AdRants also picked up the story about Rovell's Gatorade blog.
