Vimeo: Video Hosting With Tagging
Happy to see Vimeo is now open to public uploads. It's a service that hosts video and enables discoverability notably through tagging a la Flickr. I uploaded a video clip of beatboxer Yuri Lane from the GEL conference that I took with my digital camera.
This was something I was looking for when I wanted to host the videos that I took from Vince Carter's return to Toronto back in April, but found that most sites of the sort were lacking. Since April, Google has also jumped on the video hosting bandwagon. Haven't yet tried out the service, but Vimeo's 8MB weekly upload limit might compel me to try Google's.
Vimeo was put together by the folks at Connected Ventures, who are also known for College Humor and Busted Tees, among others.

Not sure where in cyberspace I saw this but check out - http://www.youtube.com/
YouTube was hell of a lot easier to use than Vimeo. It also seems like more people are using YouTube. I will keep a watch out for Vimeo though, I like the other stuff those guys at Connected Ventures have done.
