Gawker Launches Sports Blog
In January, I wrote that sports blogging is blowing up.
Today, I see that Nick Denton's Gawker media officially launched their first foray into the world of sports: Deadspin. As Eric at Offwing described it, it's "sort of like Wonkette meets ESPN Hollywood".
Should be interesting to see how crowded the space gets, and what their impact is on the major sports sites of the world.
